A Landmark Regeneration - Fiddler's Ferry Power Station

A beacon to the northwest, recognised by millions, powering our country for half a century. At the end of an era, how do you deal with communicating that it's going to be torn down?

This once-in-a-lifetime challenge presented an opportunity for Peel NRE to rethink its engagement about the demolition and create excitement about the sites future uses. A digital-first stakeholder engagement exercise increased engagement with local communities, allowed for co-design in its planning and most importantly looked to respect the legacy of this historical monument to our industrial heritage.
