Grahame Park estate regeneration Masterplan

Grahame Park is the largest housing estate in the London Borough of Barnet. Built in the 1970s, design issues have contributed to problems including overcrowding, crime and anti-social behaviour, and low quality of life for residents. Stage B of this multi-phase masterplan sets out a new vision featuring 2,088 new homes, community facilities, shops, flexible workspace, sustainable energy centres, and a network of tree-lined streets. The judges appreciated the project’s “integrated approach to delivering good outcomes for the local community, economy and environment”.
