Malt Street is a major regeneration scheme which will transform largely underutilised land into a thriving, cohesive and family orientated neighbourhood. Up to 1,453 new homes will be created (40% affordable) while two acres will be for attractive open spaces. Its careful design will re-establish connections to the wider community and provide new pedestrian and green routes. As well as having a thoughtful and inclusive community plan, the regeneration will create shared benefits for the wider community such as jobs, retail and leisure opportunities.
