Marrons – Everards Meadows phase 2, Blaby, and St Margaret’s Bus Station, Leicester

Marrons

Both projects have had a major positive impact on the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of Leicestershire.

St Margaret’s transformed a tired building into a modern, efficient alternative, which serves as a catalyst for further regeneration and provides increased capacity for passengers. It is the UK’s first net zero carbon bus station and an exemplar for modern, sustainable design. Everards builds upon an already successful tourism destination and encourages further sustainable tourism as well as increased employment opportunities. Its expansion is recognised as a unique, important and sustainable long-term project that will enhance the Blaby district and Leicestershire.
