Energy planning for Wembley Park



Submission summary: The continued implementation of the Wembley Park planning permission and subsequent RMAs has helped to deliver the UK’s largest Build to Rent development whilst also providing an average of 30% affordable homes for local people. Quintain were able to secure planning permission to unlock the site for increased housing delivery despite the surrounding site constraints of an urban environment including protecting views of Wembley Stadium’s arch, providing robust acoustic measures to mitigate against noise associated with Wembley Stadium. A key challenge was responding to its Growth Area status whilst being sensitive to the surrounding suburban nature of the wider area.
