Submission Summary:

This scheme delivers 55 new homes, including 39 affordable homes, and a new community centre enabled by demolition of the existing disused and underused non-residential spaces. These spaces are re-provided both on-site as part of redevelopment, with a planning case also made for relocation of the youth centre in a modern and enhanced facility to a nearby Council owned property. In addition to delivering additional affordable housing in an already densely developed area the scheme delivers landscape and environmental improvements for the benefit of both new and existing residents. The major landscape improvements successfully tie together old and new.
