Space Park Leicester

Shepheard Epstein Hunter

Space Park Leicester has brought a vacant contaminated brownfield site into use as a centre of world-leading research, innovation and skills development in space and space-enabled sectors, and is aligned with the UK’s National Space Strategy. Its contemporary design was developed as a partnership between City and University and through close working with stakeholders, and is welcoming, adaptable and sustainable. It retains wildlife and complements the adjacent 1891 listed building and parkland, and has transformed a redundant site at the end of a cul-de-sac into a lively place which is a generator of economic activity.
