The Merton Regeneration Project

Clarion Housing

Submission Summary:

This project is about balancing financial viability, design quality and social justice. 730 socially rented homes in a borough that has produced 70 in the past five years. Almost 3,000 new homes in an area where 90% of applications are for 10 or fewer homes. And it delivers this within a framework of resident support, fairness and core values that focusses on residents.
“Being involved in [High Path’s regeneration] has been a brilliant opportunity. It has connected the children with their local community making them the agents of the change they see around them.”
