Carbon Options Guidance Planning Advice Note

The Whole Life-Cycle Carbon Optioneering PAN is an innovative approach that promotes reuse and retrofit as well as minimising the embodied carbon of major developments in the City of London.

It has been developed in close collaboration with leading industry bodies and policy makers, and there are calls for this approach to be rolled out more widely to inform decision-making. It is aimed at mutually and constructively driving forward the best package for an exemplar, sustainable and low carbon development design solution, and to build consensus between the development industry, stakeholders and communities for a bespoke solution for each site.
