A transformation of a previous impermeable office island site devoid of active frontages with a new multi-level network of pedestrian connections, a major office building with vibrant retail, restaurant, bars and leisure arcades, 1 Broadgate plays a central role in transforming Broadgate as an open, connected, welcoming and characterful integral part of the City. The project exemplifies how a positive collaboration between client, design team and planning authority can deliver a mixed-use transformation providing a public realm transformation and a vibrant new 7-day retail and leisure destination for London
