A transformation of a previous impermeable office island site devoid of active frontages with a new multi-level network of pedestrian connections with vibrant retail arcades and generous amenity spaces, 1 Broadgate plays a central role in remaking Broadgate as an open, connected and characterful urban campus. The project exemplifies how a positive collaboration between client, design team and planning authority can deliver architecture that is bold, distinctive, inclusive and grounded in its urban context providing a public realm transformation and a vibrant new retail destination for London
