100 Fetter Lane is a gentle, humane scheme promoting health and wellbeing to the occupiers of the building but also a calming, culturally enriching contribution to the area. The scheme delivers a secluded, tranquil pocket park with a café connecting to a City garden with quotes from local poets in the landscaping, also in braille. A re-invented City pub, at a challenging time for pubs, on a prominent corner in bold blue faience with embossed symbols of the area’s history with interpretation in the paving, re-introducing a vital element of the cultural, social, community and economic life of the City.
