A transformational planning permission for an iconic 54 storey tower on the northern gateway into the City Cluster. A scheme that delivers substantial economic and employment growth, a transformation of the public realm with a network of new pedestrian routes, a new inclusive public Cultural space for use by the whole community which is to be curated by Intermission Youth and a new 7-day a week City Market Food Hall. With a focus on design excellence, public benefits and sustainability, the scheme was delivered through extensive public engagement, including co-design workshops for the cultural space, and an exemplary solution-focussed collaboration.
