Brent Cross Town Electrical Sub-Station

The project comprises an electrical substation wrapped innovatively in a piece of permanent public art at a huge scale, serving a large urban regeneration project, focussing on both sustainability and the local community. The vast scale of the artwork, at its highest point, is taller than the Angel of the North, and is in a prominent location to be seen from rail and road. Its colour and dynamism will inspire and motivate, whilst effectively concealing an otherwise utilitarian piece of vital infrastructure.
