This site includes a unique collection of 7 Grade II listed gasholders, making it one of the most challenging and fascinating brownfield projects in the UK. A truly collaborative approach between St William, LBN, GLA and Historic England with design led by RSHP has created a masterplan of the highest quality built on the site’s historic legacy. The project will deliver 2,150 homes, with 70% open space including a beautiful new 4.2-acre park fronting the River Lea. £72 million will be invested to restore the gasholders, allowing the site to be opened for the first time in 150 years.
