DEVELOPMENT AT MONKS FARM, GROVE, WANTAGE

JMR Planning Law

The work was a discrete part of a wider planning application, but the initial lack of ownership of the BOAT meant there was no landowner to consent to the highway works, nor to make the application for deregistration of the common land, nor to consent to the highway works on the common land. Ultimately the team approach enabled a solution to be found, without which this strategic allocation would have been threatened. Additionally the work is quite unusual in nature and is deserving of a wider exposure demonstrating the benefits of a team approach to problem solving.
