The London Cancer Hub involves a world class, design led transformation of a former hospital site into a landscape driven, sustainable and community centred life sciences district, recognised by the 2025 NLA Award for Healthcare and Life Sciences. A clear design vision anchored in a central green spine, inclusive public realm and climate resilient architecture—creates a place that prioritises wellbeing, biodiversity and active travel. Sensitive massing and contextual materials enhance local character, while BREEAM Excellent, net zero aligned buildings embed exemplary environmental performance. More than 4,500 stakeholders shaped the masterplan, informing amenities including the Learning Lab and key worker homes. A comprehensive Design Code secures quality design.
