NHS Property Services Town Planning Team

The NHSPS Town Planning Team has grown to 18 planning professionals and is the only dedicated in-house planning service in the NHS, covering all aspects of spatial planning. The Team has a unique role, leading and championing town planning both within NHSPS, but also across wider NHS organisations, working in partnership with commissioners and providers to offer specialist town planning support. The team provides a unique end-to-end town planning service and our case study demonstrates how the team has driven forward the delivery of key health infrastructure, through effective partnership working, delivering key health benefits to local communities and residents.
