The Old Kent Road Area Action Plan is a design lead development plan document that seeks to deliver 20,000 new homes, an additional 10,000 jobs and the extension of the Bakerloo Line through the Old Kent Road to Lewisham. In effect a New Town in London. Rather than a primarily written policy document the plan contains a masterplan that sets out the approach to land use, place and environmental design.
