Oxford City Councill’s Planning Service has taken a positive approach to meet the significant demand that has arisen within the city as part of the growth potential of the Oxford-Cambridge Growth Corridor. All parts of the service have combined to deliver several mixed-use regeneration schemes and standalone developments across the city which have delivered significant employment space; residential development; and community facilities, new public realm and key infrastructure projects that enable active travel, social, and economic connectivity. These schemes have resulted in tangible improvements to place and communities across the city whilst also maintaining Oxford’s internationally significant heritage assets.
