The Regent’s Park Estate Story Trail is the gold standard of community-led, socially engaged public art. It is an ambitious, innovative, large-scale artistic intervention in Camden’s largest social housing community, and an exemplar of long-term, in-depth, mass community engagement in place-shaping within a neighbourhood facing the disruption and uncertainty of HS2. Encompassing 12 site-specific art installations, the Story Trail brings 31 new public artworks to the area. Each artwork relates to locations selected by residents and explores local culture, ecology and heritage, enhancing community cohesion whilst also responding to the area's practical needs.
