By aligning five major partners, the partnership manages a robust 53 site pipeline with a capacity for 10,671 home capacity. In 2023/24, the partnership achieved 3,717 completions, nearly double the Local Plan requirement. A key milestone was securing £67m in Brownfield Infrastructure Land funding to kickstart the Furnace Hill and Neepsend catalyst neighbourhoods. Our model provides a national benchmark for using strategic planning to accelerate high-quality housing and anchor economic growth, leveraging the Investment Zone to foster 8,000 new jobs and sustainable thriving communities.
