Spitfire Hangar at Brabazon has been transformed from a deteriorating Grade‑II listed aviation building into a vibrant new community hub for North Bristol. Delivered ahead of planning requirements, it now offers a cafe and bakery, bookable workspaces, meeting rooms and an events hall for up to 300 people, alongside a new public square that will connect to a future 15‑acre park. The project both preserves the heritage of former Filton Airfield and catalyses regeneration in nearby neighbourhoods that sit within the bottom 20% most deprived nationally, improving the physical quality of the area and strengthening community wellbeing.
