Over four years, ECDC made genuine engagement with stakeholders a central pillar of its strategy, reaching thousands of local residents, with a focus on seldom-heard voices, through innovative measures that directly shaped the design process. Through a locally recruited community team, an open-door consultation space and community hub, and by forming a panel of local people, the public’s feedback directly impacted the masterplan and sitewide Design Code. In late 2025 the application secured a unanimous resolution to grant in Hammersmith & Fulham and a four-to-zero vote in favour in Kensington & Chelsea.
