Upper Trinity Street

Corstorphine & Wright Architects and Cole Waterhouse

Digbeth is Birmingham’s creative and cultural quarter. Cole Waterhouse took innovative steps to protect and celebrate the site's distinctive physical and cultural assets. They engaged two unique individuals;

Tim Tolkien; a well respected local artist to challenge the project team and act as a ‘disruptor’, he curated a Public Art Strategy which will be built on as the project progresses.

Jez Collins; the project’s Cultural Lead. He leveraged his established network within the city and wider cultural and creative community to foster relationships with existing and emerging organisations. He developed a Cultural Strategy which continues to underpin the commercial lettings.
