Westwick Row aims to create a participatory community, shaped and stewarded by residents and local people, influencing decisions from early design through long‑term management. From September 2024 to November 2025, extensive engagement took place with over 35 hours of codesign workshops. Local residents, councillors, community groups, future cohousing residents, a Renters Panel, and a demographically representative Ideas Exchange all contributed to shaping home layouts and shared spaces. The Crown Estate appointed TOWN as development partner, whose collaborative approach informed this tailored engagement process exploring how open dialogue and local knowledge can improve the design and delivery of the new neighbourhood.
