Mike Kiely

Mike is a chartered town planner and MBA qualified manager. His planning career started with the GLC in 1974, and his local government career finished as Head of Planning for LB Croydon in 2015. He then set up his consultancy, Mike Kiely planning + regeneration, to specialise in assisting local planning authorities to perform better and be more effective. He is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, formerly president of the Planning Officers Society and now chair of its Board. He works closely with government and across the sector to shape planning in England.
