I started my planning career by doing short stint at the Planning Portal before moving to North Somerset Council as a Planning Officer within Development Management following this I worked at 9 different London Borough Councils within Development Management Planning and enforcement. I have also worked for Ebbsfleet Garden City Development Corporation. In that time I dealt with; Major applications - UK’s First fully underground hotel, and smaller applications which influenced the change to permitted development rights for household basements, planning enforcement public inquiry appeals, and prosecution in the Magistrate’s court. I have been a chartered planner for almost 20 years. I am currently a Planning enforcement, trees, and conservation area team leader and a member of the BAME Planner’s network which was founded by the current standing RTPI president.
