Samer Bagaeen
Professor of Planning and Head of School , University of the Built Environment
Professor Samer Bagaeen is Head of School of Town Planning at the University of the Built Environment and Technical Director in Town Planning at Arcadis in London. He previously worked as an Associate Director & Relationships Manager with the Rockefeller Foundation resilient cities network responsible for city leadership relationships. He set up two accredited planning schools at the Universities of Brighton and Kent. In addition to being a Fellow of the Royal Town Planning Institute, Samer is Distinguished Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers. Samer has served as an elected City Council Member in the City of Brighton & Hove since 2019.
